Biggest positive is the runtime and the amount of episodes, as we get way more time with the contestants. There are more positives than negatives, but the negatives for me weigh pretty heavy. Despite the fact that we get more time with the contestants, the amount of airtime varies GREATLY from contestant to contestant. Fucking loved this episode. Hope they don’t vote out all the big players early and burn our, because we’ll be in for a fantastic season. I only watched the most recent season of Survivor Australia, but now I’m going to have to go back and watch because I’ve loved so many of these players I’ve never seen & two of the ones I’ve really enjoyed are gone! Every Reddit post is about how terrible S5 is going. S5 has had big players playing a decent game. It is much better than many US seasons. David is great to watch, and the little rascals went really far. Unfortunately, it seems that unless all four of the little rascals went to FTC and tied for first place then the fans were going to complain. So I love AU Survivor, 2017 is top tier Survivor EVER, but I'd argue AU All Stars is absolutely bottom tier Survivor, unless you're a giant fan of its winner. But I'll also both CvCs(Though CvC 1) post merge are some great Survivor, so to me right now it's some real top tier seasons, mixed with a lot of lower tier ones. Winners of Australian survivor are typically not the most visible players, but do get consistent content throughout the season, so far Shonee has received some content in one way or another throughout her three episodes. There's really no losing with this season.
